Here is a look at
tonight's Local TV News and tomorrow's AC Press before it
Local TV 40
and Atlantic City Press Writer Derek Harper were at Mayor Langford's office
today ... but, they held back a "secret" that they knew
TV 40 and The
Press knew that Craig Callaway would be arriving with a surprise "Clean
Campaign Pledge" in tow ...
Langford fashion ... it didn't matter that the local media, in cahoots with
Callaway, were preparing to lay a political surprise on him ... all the
while, with the cameras rolling ...
no problem whatsoever signing a "Clean Campaign Pledge," as every campaign he
has ever waged has been a clean one ...
the one who desperately needs to sign a "Clean Campaign Pledge" ... However, we
predict that he will not honor it ...
We also can't
help but wonder ... did he sign the pledge: Craig Callaway or Farooq
Langford added upon signing the campaign pledge himself, that moral background
issues and values issues will be actively and regularly discussed during this
Like the air
out of a balloon ... Callaway watched his whole attempt to stop a free and fair
review of his past ... stopped in its very tracks ...
TV 40, The
Press and Craig Callaway all knew about today's stunt in advance ... The only
one who didn't know about it -- was Langford himself -- and he was the one who
came out on top in the end ...
It is quite
obvious that Langford has shaken Callaway with the clarity of his message to the
citizens of Atlantic City ... Langford has successfully drawn a sharp
contrast to Callaway ... The comparisons between their lives is stark and
Callaway simply cannot hold up ...
Note: Langford had invited TV 40 and The Press to cover an African American
Business Persons event, which was held today at The Mayor's office ...
TV 40, The
Press and Callaway were attempting to seize the moment ... to try and turn
it into, what a Pro-Callaway (staged) event ... It didn't work
In fact, in
the end, it back fired miserably on Callaway ...
We find it
interesting that (somehow) Callaway associates a "Clean Campaign" to mean that
his checkered past is somehow off limits ... While he has savaged Mayor Langford
for nearly 4 years on a relentless, daily basis ...
a very visibly unhappy person today ... the event politically blew up in one of
his faces ...
Note 2: Craig Callaway is also known as Farooq
