Hurley in the Morning has learned and confirmed that at Wednesday (05/29/02) night's AC PBA Local 24 Regular Membership Meeting, a vote took place and the members ordered PBA President Sean McCausland to retract the endorsement of AC Council Candidates Craig Calloway and Hattie Marshall.

As we reported, the PBA is not permitted to endorse candidates, no vote of the Membership had ever taken place, McCausland did this on his own and the Membership was furious last night about it McCausland was ordered to remove the endorsement in the exact manner which he issued it.

The AC PBA Supervisors also did not vote for the Calloway and Marshall endorsements. The Fire Department Membership at large also did not vote for the endorsements. This entire endorsement has now been unmasked for the sham it is. A developing story, more to follow
