         BOB LEVY, A HISTORICAL TIMELINE

April 6, 2005:  Bob Levy breaks his silence, after previously announcing that he would not be speaking on any issues until at least the middle of April 2005. This coincided with a stingingly revealing web article from HarryHurley.com, who is also the host of the widely listened to, "Hurley in the Morning" Radio Program. Levy criticized the current state of Public Safety in Atlantic City, without offering one single solution to any of the problems he listed.

April 2, 2005:  Bob Levy announces a plan to fight crime in Atlantic City. This is a plan that is heavily critical of the men and women of the AC Police Department, and only offers to spend millions of tax-payer dollars to hire 40-60 new Police Officers. As well as bringing in the NJ State Police to do the job, which he claims the AC Police can not do themselves. (This is also in spite of the fact that Levy claimed he would not be speaking until at least the middle of April 2005)

April 1, 2005:  On "April Fools Day," Levy and the Atlantic City Police Benevolent Association claim that the "Members" of the PBA have voted to endorse Bob Levy for Mayor of Atlantic City. What they don't report though, is that this vote took place with less than 30-40 of the nearly 400 Members being permitted to vote for this "endorsement". No candidates, (including Levy), were interviewed before this action took place.

April 1, 2005:  The local media is faxed an official release from Craig Callaway's Campaign Manager, now reported to be Bob Levy's campaign manager, wherein it was reported that Bob Levy would be dropping out of the race for Mayor of AC, "because he would not be permitted to wear flip-flops and tank tops on the job". This is later to be declared an April Fools stunt by Callaway's and now Levy's Campaign Manager, who also claimed that Levy had no knowledge that the announcement went out on his, (Levy's) official campaign letterhead.

March 29, 2005:  Bob Levy has no comment regarding a recent proposal for the city-owned Garden Pier. (A pattern by Levy will develop here).

March 27, 2005:  Bob Levy refuses to comment on the future development of Bader Field, further indicating that he had no opinion at this time.

March 24, 2005:  Bob Levy reads, (a prepared for him), statement announcing his candidacy for Mayor of Atlantic City. Levy hugs only two people at this event:  Jim Whelan and Craig Callaway, (not even Levy's new found Democrat Chairman, James Carroll earned a hug from him on this date).

March 16, 2005:  Craig Callaway is reportedly seeking a replacement for himself, as he has dropped out of the race for Mayor, for what few believe is truly "health reasons". Levy is mentioned as a possible replacement for Callaway in the Democrat Primary, as Levy has switched from a 46-year long Republican to Atlantic City's newest Democrat about two months prior. However, Levy has not yet been ordered to run yet.

Dec. 28, 2005:  Levy and Callaway circumvent the Langford Administration negotiations with 911 Dispatchers, by attempting to improperly negotiate their own deal, in opposition to the Langford Administration and the city White Color Union themselves.

Dec. 13, 2004:  Bob Levy attends a $1000.00 a plate dinner for his political soul mate, Craig Callaway, in a fund raiser for Callaway for Mayor. Most attendees are observed entering and exiting through the rear door of the restaurant, and the local media, who had been previously invited to cover the event, were refused entrance by Levy and Callaway, through either the rear or front doors.

Dec. 13, 2004:  Bob Levy switches from a 46-year long member of the Republican Party, to become Atlantic City's newest Democrat.

Nov. 23, 2004:  Levy reports that 911 Dispatchers are "dangerously short" of man and women power, after he allowed the situation to go unchecked for at least the eight previous years.

Aug. 28, 2004:  Massive complaints about sea gulls attacking tourists with "air bombs", and stealing food "right from their hands" are reported. Levy has no plan of response to the sea gull crisis, and no one blames Levy for the bodacious birds.

July 15, 2004:  Bob Levy fights in Superior Court, for only a certain seven members of the AC Beach Patrol, to enjoy full-year pension benefits for a seasonal type of position as employee of the Beach Patrol.

Dec. 3, 2003:  Union and City Officials meet about concerns relating to the Emergency Radio Systems, which were negotiated at a cost of two and a half million dollars by Levy and former Mayor Jim Whelan. The radio system has been described as unsafe. A meeting is scheduled with a State Investigator to probe the issue. No one blames Bob Levy or Jim Whelan for this problem that they created.

Nov. 21, 2003:  Tom Foley, the Director of Emergency Management, receives his first weekly pay check in the amount of 4 cents, which is representative of a yearly salary of one dollar in a scheme created by Bob Levy and Craig Callaway.

Nov. 17, 2003:  Levy and Callaway scheme with certain members of City Council to eliminate the health benefits of Tom Foley. Foley previously risked his life for Atlantic City for 30 years in the Fire Department, experiencing a career ending injury. In spite of Foley's special health concerns, Levy and Callaway moved to eliminate his Health Benefits any way.

Nov. 7, 2003:  Levy and Callaway now extend their one dollar per year salary schemes to Public Safety Director, Robert Flipping and Health and Human Services Director, Ron Cash (who was also doing two jobs for the price of one and acting as the city Health Officer, too).

Oct. 7, 2003:  Levy and Callaway scheme to reduce Tom Foley's salary to one dollar per year. This cut is specified to NOT take effect until after Bob Levy leaves the post. Levy has been paid many tens of thousands of dollars specifically earmarked by Federal Funds for the position that Levy now wants to pay Tom Foley ONE DOLLAR per year for the same job.

June 25, 2003:  It is reported that the AC Beach Patrol made more than 50 rescues of swimmers on this day. Thankfully no life was lost and no one was seriously injured.  No one, however, blames Bob Levy for the angry seas of the Atlantic Ocean.

May 27, 2003:  Atlantic City Council lashes out at Bob Levy for not even attempting to hire any city residents as lifeguards.

May 22, 2003:  At the direction of Bob Levy, and for the first time in more than a decade, no young people from AC will be afforded the opportunity to serve as AC Lifeguards. Levy reports their is too much interest from "veteran" lifeguards from outside of Atlantic City.

Mar. 25, 2003:  Bob Levy criticizes Director of Public Safety, Robert Flipping for his proposal of a Police Scuba Dive Team. This is in spite of the fact that Levy never proposed any innovative ideas for Public Safety in his countless years as Emergency Management Director.

Aug. 7, 2002:  A Resolution naming Bob Levy as Director of Public Safety is tabled for the third time. Most believed that it was tabled at Levy's request. This also led most to believe that Levy was more interested in obstructing the Langford Administrations efforts in Public Safety, than he was in advancing good public policy for the citizens of AC.

Aug. 2, 2002:  Bob Levy's subordinate, Lt. Gayle Mancuso is awarded $62,000, with hundreds of thousands of dollars expected in punitive damages in a complaint for sexual harassment. Interestingly, this complaint originated under another former lifeguard, Jim Whelan, who was then the Mayor of AC. It is also noteworthy that Levy is never asked to explain what measures he took to protect Mancuso from this harassment that cost the citizens of AC more than 1/4 million dollars.

July 21, 2002:  Countless swimmers are forced from the grips of the Atlantic Ocean, when numerous sharks are observed feeding off the shore line. No one was reported injured, and no one blamed Bob Levy for the feeding frenzy that occurred so close to the oceans edge.

July 2, 2002:  Six AC Lifeguards fail the mandatory Drug Testing Policy of the city. But Levy is relieved to report that:  "I will swear to you that these individuals, [who failed the drug test], are not athletes and will not be representing us out of town". Levy had no comment on where saving lives and protecting the beaches, factors into his "feeling of relief".

* Writers Note:  Please Stay tuned. The "history" will go on. It's important, however, that certain history is not permitted to be repeated by putting the wrong people into critical positions.

Bob Levy is a disinterested, passionless, and put-up candidate, with no real desire to serve the citizens of Atlantic City as their Mayor. He is being ordered by special interests, to attempt to seize power for their own selfish needs. Again, it is obvious that none of what Levy has done and is doing, has anything to do with good government.

The Press, TV 40 and other outlets are attempting to shift their support of Craig Callaway directly to Bob Levy without a blip. Always be mindful... these are the same people, (including Bob Levy), that wanted Craig Callaway to be the Mayor of Atlantic City. That misjudgment, alone, should disqualify them from serious consideration.

If there is one thing that this series of Historical Timelines is revealing:  Is the fact  that Bob Levy is Craig Callaway is Jim Whelan. End of story. (For now).
