DEREK HARPER, THE LEVY PRESS SECRETARY ... DOES IT, AGAIN! HOW MUCH MORE CAN THEY DO BEFORE TUESDAY? HOW MANY LEGITIMATE STORIES CAN THEY CONTINUE TO IGNORE? - Imagine a writer reporting about race issues in the Atlantic City Mayoral campaign ... But, he failed to mention that Bob Levy said he got kicked out of Atlantic City High School for dating an African-American girl ... A lie ... Which Levy, under immense public pressure, took back and confirmed that he wasn't kicked out of high school ... Also, this writer, who didn't once challenge Levy during the entire campaign ... Not once ... And, today he writes that Levy has "swamped" Langford in campaign fundraising .. making this a positive for Levy ... The writer doesn't challenge incomplete financing reports ... The writer doesn't challenge where Levy got all of this money and why? We are now confidant that we can state this with almost certainty ... The Atlantic City Press was more unfair to Lorenzo Langford then we have seen them be to anyone ever before! They gave Bob Levy, a 46-year, life-long Republican (in a Democratic Primary), a total free pass. They didn't challenge him on anything ... They allowed Levy to speak through cheat sheets and Philadelphia spokespeople. Here are just a few questions that were never asked: "How can you have a more then $ 1 million dollar lawsuit against your own City and run for Mayor?" "What environment were you responsible for creating that led to a massive taxpayer-funded lawsuit from Gayle Mancuso, because of deplorable conditions and atmosphere for females in your lifeguard department?" "You were responsible for purchasing two-way public safety radios that didn't work properly. What happened?" "You were responsible for purchasing lap top computers for police cars ... They didn't work from Day 1 ... What happened? "Before Jim Whelan became Mayor, your salary was about $ 53,000 a year ... still, quite a lot for a part-time lifeguard ... When Whelan left, your salary was more then $ 117,000 per-year ... How did this happen?" Harper/The Press never investigated anything about Levy ... 4 years ago, Langford was tortured by The Press about his just lawsuit, for what Whelan and Mancso had done. Not only didn't they cover Levy ... They ran new stories about old news reagrding Langford. The Press photos were always pro-Levy, including today ... Never before has a challenger, who has offered so little ... been given so much ... No questions as to how Levy, with no record as having been a candidate, was able to rack up such big bucks for his campaign ... The Press simply failed to do its job ... We believe on purpose ... They want Langfordf out ... They never wanted him in ... They loved their free office inside City Hall, that they never paid a penny for ... Even after Paul Merkoski said they would reiburse the City ... our inside sources at City Hall have told us that no such reimbursement has ever occurred ... If The Press has paid its bill, like Merkoski said he would ... Present proof and we'll retract this immediately. All of this injustice ... massive attempts to steal this election from too many angles to recite here and now ... And, yet this Tuesday, Langford will win re-election ... And, they'll all be scratching their collective heads and be saying ... "We couldn't have done anymore to take this guy out, How did this happen"?
